When you finally do venture out on your own and decide to attempt a pattern, you're going to come across a lot of things that you have NO IDEA WHAT THEY MEAN. Seriously. I remember the first time I attempted a pattern and it turned out horribly and I'm pretty sure it scarred me for life (not really, but just roll with it). Sure, you can google this, but why not just have everything in a safe place?
